The project will incorporate a multi-use bituminous trail within the corridor, along with a traffic control signal at the intersection of North Lake Boulevard and Legacy Creek Parkway. Construction is anticipated for Summer 2022.ġ25th Avenue (CSAH 14) Reconstruction - Harpers Street to Lexington Avenue (CSAH 17)ĬSAH 14 will be upgraded from a two-lane rural section to a four-lane divided urban section from Harpers Street to CSAH 17. Each intersection will be redone individually as a small business contract. These projects will increase the walkability of the area, and also provide contracting opportunities to local small businesses for the construction.

The following ramps will also be closed from 8 p.m. Northbound Cedar Avenue/Highway 77 will close from Highway 13 to Interstate 494 starting at 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. There is a posted detour using northbound I-35E, westbound I-494 and northbound Highway 77 to get around the closure.

The closures are part of the Highway 77/ Cedar Avenue construction project in Bloomington, Richfield and Minneapolis. MnDOT is resurfacing Highway 77 pavement between the Minnesota River and Lake Nokomis through the fall of 2022. Northbound Cedar Avenue/Highway 77 will close from Highway 13 to Interstate 494 starting at 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday. All southbound Hwy 77 lanes will remain open.Īccording to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), the same closure is scheduled for the following weekend, May 20-23.
